Dr. Kiara Nobbe

Dr. Nobbe was born and raised in Southeast Indiana where she spent her childhood with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. She enjoyed showing horses in 4-H, competing in FFA contests, and participating in multiple clubs.

Dr. Nobbe found her passion for veterinary medicine by researching equine lameness and diseases as she encountered them while training her horse. She worked with veterinarians, farriers, and chiropractors to find a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Throughout high school and her undergraduate studies, she worked at a local small animal clinic that still had one small dairy client. Her favorite part of the job was assisting at the monthly herd check for the dairy which sparked her interest in ruminant medicine and reproduction.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin and continued her veterinary studies at Purdue University, earning her degree in veterinary medicine in 2025.

She is excited to provide a high standard of care for her patients to improve their life quality and longevity! When she is not tending to furry creatures, she spends time reading novels, trail riding, gardening, and hiking with her dog.

Dr. Veronica Busick

Dr. Busick spent the first part of her childhood in Florida, where she could often be found feeding and caring for the wildlife that wandered into her backyard.  Tortoises, iguanas and anoles all found a tasty snack and a safe place to rest until they wandered off.  That desire to care for animals led her to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Busick graduated from Purdue University with a degree in veterinary medicine in 2008 then went on to receive her credentials as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist in 2009.  After graduation, Dr. Busick took a job at a fast paced 24 hour animal hospital in Iowa where she gained much experience in wellness care as well as working with emergencies and everything in between.  She has continued to hone her skills so she can help the clients she sees at Town and Country Hospital by helping their pets live long and healthy lives.

When Dr. Busick isn’t working you can find her in her garden or chasing around the chickens, goats, sheep or cattle at her hobby farm. Veronica brings with her many years of expertise in primary care, urgent/emergent care and physical therapy for dogs and cats. Her commitment lies in upholding the exceptional level of attention for the animals in her care. If you’re visiting our office, feel free to schedule an appointment with Dr. V. Busick!

Dr. Braxten McAdams

Dr. Braxten McAdams is originally from Frankton, Indiana. Animals were always fascinating to him growing up and his desire to care for them grew as he acquired experience working with, and befriending, every species he could. After school hours were spent volunteering at local dog shelters, caring for his goats and dogs at home, and even working at a baboon sanctuary. He knew veterinary medicine was his calling from an early age.

He pursued an expedited veterinary track and completed his prerequisite courses at Purdue University in just two years. Dr. McAdams then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and then his clinical year at the University of Florida.

He worked in Florida for over a year, but began to miss the people and lifestyle his home state of Indiana provided. After experiencing the clients, patients, staff, and atmosphere our clinic had to offer, he decided to stay in Indiana and become a member of our veterinary team. If you’re visiting our office, feel free to schedule an appointment with Dr. McAdams!

Cassi

Practice Manager

Cassi was quite literally born into veterinary medicine, growing up with Rottweilers and horses while her father owned multiple veterinary clinics in Northwestern Indiana. One of her strongest memories is sitting on a horse’s back during hydrotherapy while her father treated it, an experience that deepened her connection to healing animals. After working in nearly every role within the veterinary field, her favorite part is watching pets grow and seeing the bond between pets and owners strengthen over time, and at home she is surrounded by her Australian Cattle Dog, Rottweiler, “Corgweiler,” Cane Corso, and cat. Outside of work she enjoys true crime, training her dogs, attending dog events with family and friends, going on yearly cruises with her mom, and she hopes to one day blend her psychology degrees with her passion for helping people and animals.

Bonnie

Receptionist

Bonnie grew up with Laddie, a Sheltie who was part of her family for 14 years and set the standard for what a great dog could be. She entered veterinary medicine by applying for a receptionist position at her own vet’s office, where she was already known for her Golden Retriever Timber and the two dogs she adopted from the clinic. Golden Retrievers remain her favorite breed, and she now shares her home with two Goldens, an Australian Shepherd, and two cats; she especially enjoys watching patients grow over the years, getting to know their families, and in her free time loves Disney cruises and visiting family in Tennessee and Florida.

Sam V.

Receptionist

Sam’s bond with animals started when a very injured, malnourished pregnant cat approached her in the backyard as a child, and she kept one of the kittens, Tippy, as her own. Inspired by shows like Steve Irwin and Emergency Vet in the ’90s, she was drawn to veterinary medicine and now loves being able to help animals every day. Outside of work, she enjoys binge-watching TV, playfully annoying her teenage son, and has even worked with more unusual patients like an alligator and a snapping turtle.

Sam W.

Veterinary Assistant

Sam’s lifelong love of dogs began with her childhood black Lab, Shadow, and later her “soul-mutt” Marlee, a German Shepherd/Boxer mix who inspired her to work in dog daycare and training. As she saw how much daily care and health impact training success, her interest in veterinary medicine grew, especially while fostering senior dogs. She now enjoys supporting the emotional bond between pets and owners, educating clients on better care, and continuing to learn, and at home she cares for four dogs and one cat while spending her free time playing games with loved ones and doing parks, agility, and scent work with her dogs.

Jasmine

Veterinary Assistant

Jasmine’s love for animals began with Prince, her first pitbull and constant shadow, and eventually led her to apply for a receptionist position in a veterinary clinic where she eagerly learned every aspect of the field. Today, she enjoys spoiling patients with snacks and belly or head rubs while helping pet parents make informed decisions about their pets’ care. At home, she shares life with a pitbull mix, a Labrador Retriever, two cats, and a fish, and in her free time she loves hiking, antique shopping, and dreaming about owning a tropical plant shop one day.

Laura J.

RVT

Laura’s first pet, a cat named Bootsie who was “as big as a giant watermelon,” was the patient for her earliest pretend vet games, complete with stroller rides and checkups. Knowing from a young age that she wanted to help animals, she began pet sitting and later became a registered veterinary technician. She now especially enjoys client education, drawing blood, and training, and when she’s not at the clinic she loves camping, kayaking, and fishing with her daughter while caring at home for two dogs, a goldfish, and a cat named Heidi Cat.
